The County’s ADA Liaison acts as an advocate and a link between residents with disabilities and County government. The Liaison provides information to residents and citizen groups regarding interpretation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, works to ensure compliance, and coordinates efforts to identify and resolve concerns of the disability community. The ADA Liaison hosts an annual event to bring together the community and government. "The Annual Disability Awards and Activities Day" is held every July.
